Global Reflections 2026 hosted by the Plano Art Association (PAA) is part of the 2026 Plano International Festival and reflects the universal language of art bringing together many cultures from around the globe.
More than 25,000 people are forecasted to attend the festival.
SUBMISSION RULES:
This is a juried exhibit open to adult members of the Plano Art Association.

Artists may submit up to two pieces for an entry fee of $20. This exhibit is for 2-dimensional artwork only, and artwork must be family friendly. (Gallery Directors & Show Chairs reserve the right to reject artwork that does not meet requirements in this call for entries.) Exhibit space is limited to 30 hanging pieces. Artists will be notified of accepted works by September 2, 2026.
This exhibit will be on display from September 10, 2026, through October 18, 2026, at the Courtyard Theater, 1509 H Ave, Plano, TX 75074. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Each member may submit up to two (2) works for a fee of $20. 2-D entries will be accepted contingent on adequate display capacity and meeting the criteria in this prospectus.
2-D work may include any paint media, collage and mixed media, photography, fiber, and found objects, etc. that can hang on the wall, and sized 60" wide or smaller. (Larger pieces may be accepted if space is available). No more than 5" deep.
SUBMISSION DETAILS:

Digital files must be uploaded as .jpeg files and must be named using the following formats using your name and the title of your work:

This format is important for uploading to our POS and our PAA website.
Images of framed artwork should show only the artwork itself unless the frame is an integral part of the artwork.
All wall-hung pieces must be ready to hang with D-rings and taut wire; no eye hooks or saw-tooth hangers.
Artwork must be family friendly. (Gallery Directors and Show Chairs reserve the right to reject artwork that does not meet the requirements in this call for entries.)

We encourage you to submit artwork for sale – prices will be posted on the PAA website.
SALES:
Sales of artwork will be handled through the PAA website. PAA retains 30% commission from all sales generated through the show. Be sure to price your art accordingly. All art sold must remain in place for the duration of the exhibit. Delivery of sold artwork to buyer is the responsibility of the artist.
AWARDS:
Juried Awards will be presented as follows:1st $250, 2nd $100, 3rd $50. Additional non-cash prizes for Merit Awards.

Load Out: Tuesday 10/19 (9 am - 2 pm)*
*ALL artwork MUST be picked up by Tuesday, 10/19 - No exceptions.
