Plano Art Association Adult Members are invited to join forces with the Collaborative Arts of Plano to fill the Courtyard Theater with Art to "Celebrate the Arts." Let Music, Dance, Theater, Visual arts...etc. be your inspiration!
You may submit up to two pieces for the upcoming exhibit at the Courtyard Theater:

The exhibit will be on display in the Courtyard Theater from Wednesday, July 30, 2026, to Monday September 7, 2026. Pieces will be available for sale through the PAA website.
Each member may submit up to two (2) works for a fee of $20. 2-D entries will be accepted contingent on adequate display capacity and meeting the criteria in this prospectus.
2-D work may include any paint media, collage and mixed media, photography, fiber, and found objects, etc, that can hang on the wall, and sized 60" wide or smaller. (Larger pieces may be accepted if space is available). No more than 5" deep.

No extensions on deadline! Submission information and images are registered online. Please make sure your information is correct before hitting that SUBMIT button!
Digital files must be uploaded as .jpeg files and must be named using the following formats using your name and the title of your work:

This format is important for uploading to our POS and our PAA website.
Images of framed artwork should show only the artwork itself unless the frame is an integral part of the artwork.
All wall-hung pieces must be ready to hang with D-rings and taut wire; no eye hooks or saw-tooth hangers.
Artwork must be family friendly. (Gallery Directors and Show Chairs reserve the right to reject artwork that does not meet the requirements in this call for entries.)

We encourage you to submit artwork for sale – prices will be posted on the PAA website.
Plano Art Association will collect a 30% commission on all items sold during the exhibit. Price your art accordingly.

Celebrate the Arts Event Information:
Collaborative Arts of Plano (CAP) will present its annual showcase of member performances and exhibitions, Celebrate the Arts, on August 15 at the Courtyard Theater. This spectacular community event will feature some of Plano’s finest musicians, dancers, actors, and visual artists in a day full of entertainment and artistic celebration.
Now in its fifth year, CAP’s signature event continues to expand in scope, offering both afternoon and evening programming designed to engage audiences of all ages.
A special Children’s Matinee begins at 2:30 p.m. with exciting stage performances kids will love. Come early and join in make-and-take art activities in the lobby provided by CAP visual arts organizations. Another highlight includes a hands-on musical instrument “Petting Zoo” presented by the Plano Symphony Orchestra.
The Evening Showcase begins at 7:00 p.m. and will spotlight the remarkable talent and creativity that define Plano’s vibrant arts community. Following brief remarks from Plano civic leaders, audiences will enjoy dynamic variety-style performances by 20 of Plano’s remarkable CAP organizations.
Ahead of the evening performance, guests will be able to explore exhibits presented by CAP member organizations, as well as a featured visual arts exhibition by the Plano Art Association.
Following the evening performance, attendees are invited to an afterparty in the Courtyard Theater lobby featuring music, a DJ, wine, snacks, and opportunities to meet and greet the performers.
