August 3rd 12:00 - 3:00
Downtown Plano Arts District
You are invited to exhibit your work for sale on this exciting occasion!
Plano Art Association is excited for our next Art & Culture Quest in Downtown Plano at McCall Plaza!
Here’s how it works:
We can host several table set-ups or art displays in McCall Plaza. Locations will be assigned by the PAA President on a first-come, first-serve basis. I highly recommend having a canopy as temperatures are high. Or bring an umbrella, spray water bottle, and a chair for comfort.
If you have a larger sized display please let us know so that we can assign you an appropriate spot. Many of our artists have the most success by keeping things simple: a table, a print stand, or a few easels. Your display must not inhibit wheelchair access on the sidewalks. About 8 feet by 4 feet works best for displays. You can start setting up ahead of the event beginning at 10:30 a.m. EVENT HOURS ARE 12:00 TO 3:00.
IF YOU WANT TO BRING ONLY A FEW PIECES, PAIR UP WITH ONE OR TWO FELLOW ARTISTS AND SHARE A SPACE. THIS WILL MAKE SETTING UP EASIER ON YOU. Lets work together to make this a big event on this post July 4th weekend.
It is up to each artist to publicize the event to make sure your followers know where to find you. Check out Plano Art Association FB site and share our related posts so we can get our fans out. There is no cost to participate. We will send each participant an email that tells your location.
Please note that when you register, it reserves your spot. If you can't attend, please let us know as early as possible, so that another artist can take your place. Once all spots are taken, we will open the waitlist.
This event is only for fine art (ceramics, sculpture, photography, fiber art, painting, drawing, collage, assemblage, etc.). No sales of mass-produced items, non-art items, or services is allowed.
